We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, share, and protect your personal information.
PLEASE NOTE: There are two different types of users of the BrightPerformance Service: Customers, who purchase items such as Books & Audio CD’s from the E-Store, and Members who register for courses and training programs. This Privacy Policy covers both types of users, and sections or points which only apply to Customers or Members are indicated below.
What information does Bright Performance gather?
Information You Give Us: We may gather and store any information you enter on our website or give us in any other way. For example, during the course of purchasing an item, Customers are required to provide us with their name, email address, shipping and billing addresses and credit card information.
Additionally, when you set up an account as either a Customer or Member, we ask that you give us your permission to send you promotional materials. We may also ask both Customers to help us improve our service by filling out a few basic questions about the experience using our service.
You may choose not to provide certain information, but doing so may make it difficult or impossible to take advantage of some of our service's features.
We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, customizing future shopping and services for you, improving our store and systems, and communicating with you.
Automatic Information: We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, like many web sites, we use "cookies" to remember your login information, when your Web browser accesses our website. We use this information to track the progress of your shopping session and/or Title set up, and to maintain information about our interaction with you.
Email: When we send you emails, we may receive a confirmation when you open our emails if your computer supports such capabilities.
Information from Other Sources: For reasons such as improving our service, we may receive information about you from other sources and add it to our account information. For example, we sometimes receive updated delivery and address information from our shippers or other sources so that we can correct our records and deliver your next purchase or communication more easily. We may also compare our Customer and Member lists to lists received from other companies, in an effort to avoid sending unnecessary messages to you.
What does BrightPerformance do with your information?
If you are a Customer placing an order through our service, we will use your information during the process of fulfilling your order and supporting your shopping experience. We may also use your information to send you promotional emails and other materials if you have chosen to "opt-in".
Opt-In Policy
Bright Performance has an "Opt-in" Policy for our promotional emailing and sending of other promotional materials. This means that if you have an account with us, either as a Customer or Member, before we will send you special offers or promotions you will already have given us your permission to do so.
If you receive a promotional email from us and you would rather not receive similar emails from us in the future, there will be a mechanism to "opt-out" in the email. You may also change your contact preferences to indicate that we should not send you any promotional emails or materials in the future, or you may send a note asking to be removed from future promotions.
However, even if you indicate that you do not wish us to send you promotional information, we will still send you invoices, sales reports, confirmations about your orders and other necessary correspondence to support our service.
How does Bright Performance share your information?
Information about our Customers and Members is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others. We share personal information as described below.
If you purchase materials from our services, we will retain your personal information (including email address, US mail address, and phone number, but not credit card information). We agree to use your information for business purposes only and not to sell, rent, or transfer your information to any third party except as required to support normal operations.
Agents: We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include delivering packages, sending postal mail and email, removing repetitive information from our Customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, and processing credit card payments. These agents have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.
Promotional Offers: Sometimes we may send offers to selected groups of Customers and/or Members on behalf of other businesses. When we do this, we do not give that business your name and address. If you do not want to receive such offers, please adjust your contact preferences.
Co-Promotions: Occasionally we may run co-promotions with another company or companies. In cases where the other company or companies have offered prizes or in other ways supported the co-promotion, we may share your contact information with them if you have entered the contest.
Protection of BrightPerformance and Others: We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with law or respond to subpoenas, warrants and other legal process; enforce or apply our Terms of Use, Member Agreement, and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of BrightPerformance, our employees or agents, our Members or Customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
How secure is your information?
We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software to encrypt sensitive information you input on our website to protect the security of your information during transmission.
Any automatic login information stored through browser "cookies" is encrypted and can only be used to access pages incapable of financial transaction.
We use commercially reasonable methods to secure your information, such as storing your credit card and tax ID information in an encrypted manner, using appropriate firewalls, and keeping certain servers inaccessible to outside networks.
We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.Only employees and agents who need access to your information to perform their jobs have access to your information.
You should take appropriate measures to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer, including not sharing your password with others and always logging off when you are done using a shared computer.
E-Stores
Please be aware that E-Stores are not private, and we do not control who may access a given E-Store nor who may order Titles from an E-Store. Though we may allow Members to password protect an E-Store, we have no obligation to verify that people visiting the protected E-Store are authorized to do so.
Conditions of Use, Notices, and Revisions
If you choose to visit the Bright Performance website or any of our E-Stores, your visit and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Notice and our Terms of Use, including limitations on damages, arbitration of disputes, and application of the law of the state of California.
If you have any concern about privacy at Bright Performance, please send us a thorough description, and we will try to address your issue.
This Notice, our Terms of Use, and our Member Agreement may change in the future, and use of information that we gather now is subject to the Privacy Notice in effect at the time of use. We may email reminders of our notices and conditions, unless you have instructed us not to, but you should check our website frequently to see recent changes.

100% Refund offered for all defective, non-video products after the first 10 days. No refunds will be issued for poor transmission or technology failures.
No refunds offered after subsequent classes, or unless special circumstances apply. No refunds for any downloaded video or MP3 products under $20.00.
For Bright Performance Events & Workshops
100% Refund up to 10 days after registration. After 10 days refunds offered as follows:
35% of registration and enrollment fees up to 5 days prior to event date.
No refunds offered after 5 days before event of after events.
Bright Performance Shipping Policy
The magority of Brightperformance book and audio fulfillment is completed by Createpace at www.createspace.com.
Bright Performance will adhere to the same domestic shipping policy.
We do not currently post shipping & handling rates on our website, because costs vary depending on destination, the shipping speed, and the quantity of items ordered. For exact shipping rates for your order, simply go through the checkout process via the Brightperformnace website. Shipping costs will show before final confirmation of your order and before charges are made to your credit card.
Disc Orders:
Orders shipped domestically can be sent via U.S. Mail, UPS, or FedEx. (For internationally shipped orders, please see Internationally Shipped Orders). Typically, Disc orders will ship 2-3 business days after the order was placed.
Book Orders:
Orders shipped domestically can be sent via the United States Postal Service or UPS. (For internationally shipped orders, please see Internationally Shipped Orders). Estimated delivery dates and shipping prices for each available option are clearly displayed before final order confirmation.
International Shipping Policy
The magority of Brightperformance books and audio fulfillment is completed by Createpace. Please review Createspace International shipping policy at www.createspace.com.
CreateSpace ships orders globally. We do not currently post international shipping & handling rates on our website because they vary based on the destination, package weight, and ship method. For a specific list of countries we ship orders to, as well as shipping costs, please go through the checkout process on the CreateSpace website. Shipping details will show before final confirmation of your order and before any charges are made to your credit card.
Most international orders are sent via USPS Priority Mail International. This carrier does not provide tracking details; however, most shipments sent via USPS Priority Mail International usually arrive at their destinations 2 - 3 weeks from the ship date. Transit times can vary and may be significantly longer.
NOTE: International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from CreateSpace.com, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
